Planned is headed by Director David Parkinson, who has over 15 years’ planning experience working in both the private and public sector in New Zealand and abroad. David brings a diverse wealth of knowledge, including extensive experience working through the intricacies of Auckland’s Unitary Plan and several other statutory documents.

David offers tried and tested planning advice to maximise development potential, ultimately achieving resource and subdivision consents for our clients.

 

Yuto Tsuchiya

Yuto has over 5 years of planning experience at Auckland Council and Waikato District Council, prior to securing a role as a Senior Planning Consultant at Planned. Yuto has been involved in a wide range of resource consent and planning projects, with experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, rural and heritage projects.

Yuto’s previous role as a Senior Planner at Council enables him to understand Council expectations and processes, which allows him to customise clients development projects in a manner that will eliminate unnecessary delay during the resource consent process.

 

Leandra Raats

After starting her planning career in South Africa, Leandra immigrated to New Zealand in 2018 obtaining over 3 years’ planning experience in the NZ public sector. Leandra’s past roles involved processing a wide variety of resource consents ranging from multi-unit residential developments to industrial activities and subdivisions. Her experience at Auckland Council has also seen her provide specialist input for the Parks Planning Department. 

As a committed and hugely passionate planner, she is able the employ current planning legislation and local government experience to deliver innovative development solutions and is dedicated to enhancing the urban realm through a deep engagement with projects and clients.

Raul Galimidi

Planning Consultant

Raul has an engineering and urban infrastructure planning background and over 15 years of experience working in diverse roles in private, government and non-profit organisations, including project management, strategic planning and policy, statutory advisory, engineering, and construction management.  Raul has a detailed understanding the lifecycle of development projects, local government, and key legislation which, coupled with experience leading multidisciplinary teams, allows him to simplify complexity and communicate effectively across disciplines.

Raul brings extensive experience advising clients and decision-makers on challenging subjects and a collaborative leadership style to problem-solving that helps resolve issues timely.
